Pets are welcome in our pueblo. But under certain conditions.
For some, this village is a paradise for furry companions. For others, maybe not so much. This guide is designed to help you find it out and have clear expectations.
Also we try to do our best to avoid having pets colive with guests who are not their owners.
Pets are welcome only with prior approval from the Rooral team. Please do not bring any pet without this confirmation.

⚠️
If a pet or its owner breaks the rules, harms others or consistently creates uncomfortable situations, we may kindly ask them to leave the coliving.

Pueblo pets are rural
- There are plenty of pets in the village: dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, birds, and more. As neighbors, we expect your pet to get along with local animals, fit in well, and not create any uncomfortable situations.
- Here, pets usually have a job to do and aren’t kept indoors or taken into public indoors spaces. Still, because of past good experiences, you might get to bring pets inside the bar or coworking, if they’re calm and well-behaved. Always check with the owners first, and if it’s not okay, you can leave your pet at the door.
- Take the leash & poop bags always with you and use them whenever it is necessary.
First few days:
- Each dog is the responsibility of their owner. Especially at the beginning, please keep a close eye on your dog. Using a leash—or any way that helps you know where your dog is—makes life easier for everyone. Thanks for helping keep Rooral a comfortable home for all.
- Every dog has a different personality. Tell us what are their characteristics, anything we should know and best practices to help them integrate.
- In the dining room of Zahara, share information about your dog so we all can get to know it better and facilitate its integration. We want to know more about its history, special behavioural needs, its weaknesses...
Dog-free spaces
- Dogs are not allowed in other houses, included the main house (Zahara)
- Dogs are allowed in the terrace of the coworking and on the top floor. But if the townhall requests us not to allow it (has not happened so far), we will have to accept it, denying the entry to the coworking space.
Room Rules
- Dogs are not allowed to sleep in the beds. Colivers are expected to bring dog beds so they can sleep next to you.
- If you need towels let us know so we can lend you some specific ones for your dog.
Responsible owners, happy dogs
